Clines Landing

Clines Landing, a condominium tower near the municipal boat harbor in Port Aransas, was one of the most visible symbols along the coast of the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Once a shell of a building without windows, area residents called it the “see-through hotel.” Working with general contractor, White Construction Company, the project consisted of two, eight-story buildings connected by an atrium with 108 individual condo units totaling approximately 250,000 gross square feet. Throughout demolition, roughly 95% of the condominium’s interior was removed, while the concrete structure and some of the skin remained in place. The extensive reconstruction began in the fall of 2018 and MK Marlow Company’s work included joint sealants, batt insulation, drywall, tile, and acoustical ceilings.
