Mark Marlow, President & CEO
Mark is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M University/College Station with a degree in Construction Science. He has been involved in the drywall and acoustics business since 1985 eventually forming his own company in 1995, MK Marlow Company, Ltd., LLP. Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Associated Builders and Contractors, Mid-Coast Chapter, and he is also a past President of this same organization. Additionally, he has served as a national board member for the Associated Builders and Contractors and is a past executive board member of the Contractors Safety Council of the Texas Mid-Coast, Inc.
Mike Isbell, Vice President & COO
Mike is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction. He has 35 years of varied experience in both general construction and specialty wall & ceiling construction. His extensive commercial experience involves the construction of office buildings, retail centers, healthcare facilities, hotels, and public buildings. He has functioned as Estimator, Project Manager, and Division Manager for some of the largest specialty drywall contractors in America. Mike is an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, South Texas Chapter and the American Subcontractors Association, San Antonio Chapter.
Judy Sefcik, Secretary & CFO
Judy has pursued studies at Wharton County Junior College in Accounting Principles and Advanced Teller Operations. She has over 35 years experience in business accounting and has served in office management and accounting capacities at several large Texas oil companies prior to joining MK Marlow Company in 1998. She is responsible for managing financial risks, financial planning, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
Don Hopkinson, Chief Estimator
Don has over 23 years experience in drywall and acoustical ceiling construction. He has spent the last 13 years fully devoted to the estimation of commercial drywall projects, including healthcare, office buildings, high-rise condominiums, and public buildings. Don has a proven track record in accurate and profitable construction cost estimates and has extensive training in the use of Quick Bid and On Screen Takeoff.
Larry Buesing, Senior Estimator
Larry has over 25 years experience in both general and drywall construction. He has spent almost 20 years with the MK Marlow Company in commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling project management and estimating. He has a proven track record in accurate and profitable construction cost estimates and has extensive training in the use of Quick Bid and On Screen Takeoff.
Valeria Gonzalez, Project Assistant
Valeria has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington and has also taken classes in estimating, scheduling, construction management, and building information modeling at the University of North Texas. She has over 5 years experience as an Architect with architectural firms and Project Coordinator with a subcontracting firm. She offers support to the MK Marlow Project Managers and is also a Project Manager/Estimator Trainee.
Clay Fuller, Project Manager
Clay has over 30 years of diverse experience in commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling construction including office, educational, hospitality, retail, medical, and government. He started his career as an apprentice carpenter with a large commercial drywall contractor and quickly advanced to foreman. He later served as an Estimator, Chief Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Area Manager responsible for a branch office. Clay was also the sole owner of a drywall construction business for approximately 13 years and partner in another for almost 3 years primarily responsible for project management and field operations.
Todd has almost 25 years experience in both general and drywall construction, with the majority of that time spent in commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling construction. He has functioned as a Carpenter, Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager. He has been involved in the estimation and management of everything from high-rise buildings to interior buildouts.
Rick Lair , General Superintendent
Rick has almost 30 years experience in commercial drywall construction. He has served as Field Mechanic, Foreman, Project Superintendent, and General Superintendent for large drywall contractors in both the San Antonio and Dallas area. He has extensive experience in every type of commercial building including high-rise construction, office buildings, retail centers, healthcare facilities, hotels, and public buildings. Rick has NCCER Superintendent’s Leadership training from Clemson University, Ken Bradford’s The Leadership Course. He possesses OSHA 30 training and is a certified instructor for scissor lift, boom lift, fork lift, and powder actuated tools. He also has served on the ABC Safety & Health Committee, as well as Training & Education Committee.
Ray Gutierrez, Purchasing/Warehouse Manager
Ray has an extremely diverse background with almost 10 years experience devoted to the drywall industry. He started his career as an apprentice framer/hanger and gained enough experience to start and operate a small remodeling company. He is responsible for purchasing all tools and materials, renting of equipment, expediting deliveries, maintaining warehouse and tool inventories, and managing company vehicles.
Debbie Eblen, Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk
Debbie has over 25 years experience in business finance from accounting assistant to bookkeeper to office manager. She is proficient in all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. She has functioned both in the private sector and institutions of higher learning. Debbie is also responsible for all subcontractor payment applications.
Suzanne attended Victoria College and has almost 20 years business and accounting experience. She has functioned as an Office Manager responsible for all accounting and office systems. Suzanne has served MK Marlow Company the past 10 years as the primary assistant to the estimating and project management departments.
